Washington EMC Reports To You!

Each year Washington EMC mails its members a financial report and a notice of the date of the cooperative's annual business meeting. The annual meeting of members is held in October. This is your opportunity to elect directors and conduct the business of the EMC. We encourage you to be with us at this meeting.

In addition, your electric cooperative mails its members a monthly newsletter. The four page member newsletter, The LAMPLIGHTER, is inserted in GEORGIA magazine, a publication of Georgia EMC (our statewide association). These publications are used to communicate items of interest and importance to our members.

Also, occasionally an insert or bill message may appear with your monthly bill. The insert or message contains timely, important information. Please take time to read and respond when necessary.

Our Profit Is Your Gain

Washington EMC is a non-profit organization. Any funds collected above the cost of operation (called capital credits) are annually assigned to our members' accounts and are periodically refunded to our members when the financial condition of the cooperative permits.
