Bright Ideas Overview

Washington EMC instituted The Bright Ideas Program for certified teachers in Washington EMC’s service territory.  The Bright Ideas Program originated in North Carolina by the Statewide EMC and has awarded approximately $5 million since its inception in 1994.

Several co-ops in Georgia are currently participating in the program with high success rates.

It is our hope that this program will provide teachers with inspiration and the necessary tools to realize the dreams they have for their classrooms.

The Bright Ideas education grant program strives to improve education in classrooms by awarding grants to teachers for innovative, classroom-based projects that would not otherwise be funded.
